He is not Far from Shea stadium, across the bridge in Brooklyn, where he is leaving his mark, for the Brooklyn Tornadoes in class A ball. Yesterday he belted a home run and a single to lead his team to victory. I don't think that shea is that far off.

Awesome to hear Willy! Was he playing catcher? I know that the Mets drafted him with the intentions of making a catcher out of him. Just curious.

I forgot all about him being in Brooklyn. I was in New York all last week on business and stayed at the Marriott at the Brookly Bridge. I wish I would have remembered. Darn it!

I did see the Yankees play the Rays last Wednesday though. That was pretty cool!

No, he has an injury to his right arm and was in as designated hitter. My understanding is that he is going in as Shortstop Next week and no mention of catcher has come up. That is very good news.

Yeah, the Mets drafted him with the plan to eventually make him a catcher. With Reyes already at SS, they feel his arm will allow him to become a very good catcher. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I am very curious to see him behind the plate, but as of right now he will be at short stop. I guess thats what the Cyclones need right now.
