Between Storms
It's going to be a very long night here in West Tennessee.Already several "supercell storms" have rolled through & done some damage.Thankfully nobody has been killed but some people in a Memphis shopping center are still trapped from a tornado.Another tornado has hit Union University in Jackson & some students are trapped but without any injuries.By my count at least 7 tornadoes have hit North Mississippi & West Tennessee.The bad news is another huge system is in East Arkansas & has yet to cross the Mississippi River but it's on it's way.The first line is heading NE & is already out of the area.I'll try to keep from drowning but if you don't hear from me in the couple of days it'll be because of down electrical lines.You might get this next system in a couple of days but the Smokies might knock some of it out.Right now I have a 2-3 hour lull.

Well I'm sure you've all heard about the ones in Atlanta last weekend. Went right through downtown. Luckily, nothing right in my area.

That thing was scary watching it on tv.I glad it missed you because I considered 10 miles as too close when the tornado hit Union University.Just imagine how many people would've been in danger if the Alabama-MSU game had ended in regulation.
