For those of you not familiar with the system, this thread should provide you with a better understanding.

vCash: As you may have noticed, you now have 500+ vCash. You will see this under your post count and avatar on posts. vCash has no real value. It only allows you to bet on events here on The Garnet Spur. Winning bets will increase you vCash and losing bets will result in the loss of your wager.

Placing Bets: Upcoming sporting events will be listed in this forum. To place a bet, view the thread just like any other. At the top you will see an area to make a wager. You can bet as much as you would like, but you may only bet once unless otherwise noted.

Winning/Losing Bets: After the event is over, I will settle the bet. This should occur within 24 hours of the event ending. If you bet on the winning team you will earn a designated amount of vCash. This amount is determined by the odds of winning and the amount of vCash bet. If you bet on the losing team, you will lose whatever you wagered.

Odds: The events designated odds will determine how much vCash you will win. If you bet 100 vCash on the winning team with odds of 5/1 you will win 5x your bet or 500 vCash. Your original bet will also be returned. If you pick the losing team you will only lose the amount of vCash that you bet.
