Mark Richt's stoic demeanor has disappeared and it's been the difference maker in Georgia's mid-season rebirth. The traditionalist with an eye for discipline called for the infamous celebration against Florida, and on Saturday against Auburn granted his senior class their wish and allowed the Dawgs to wear black jerseys for the first time in modern history. Credit the change to Richt's new outlook. He gave up play-calling duties to offensive coordinator Mike Bobo to focus on getting to know his players -- and he's cutting loose, waving his arms to rile up the Sanford Stadium crowd. "He would have never let us celebrate in the end zone before. He would have never let us wear black jerseys before," senior RB Thomas Brown said. "He's relaxed a little bit more and opened it up and kind of trusting his players a little bit more." The players are getting behind him, as the SEC's hottest team scored 40-plus points for the third straight game after Saturday's 45-20 victory over Auburn.

I would be very confident that we would not lose to you again if we played you guys tomorrow. We obviously had a slow start but really turned ourselves around. I agree we in no way were or are the best team in the country but after the two games in particular before this article was written (Florida and Auburn) I dont think you can say anyone was on a bigger roll or "hotter". It started after scoring the first 7 points against the favored gators and was followed by the Blackout. What other team would you call the "Hottest Team" at the time the article was written?

And a two loss SEC team is most always better than any team with fewer losses. Unfortunatley, sometimes I believe this is how we pay the price for being in such a strong and competitive conference. Look at Ohio State. They were #1 for a while because they played a weak schedule. This year especially we have seen that there are really no easy SEC games. We will continue to have more losses than other teams because of who we have to play.

Just my opinion on things.

I Definitely Think That Uga Is One Of The Best Teams In The Country Right Now. I Don't Agree That Hawaii Is. And I Can't Believe That The Espn Ncaa Football Similation Ended Up With Hawaii As The Winner Of A Playoff. That Would Not Happen, And They Will Get Their Tails Handed To Them By Uga.
While I Agree That Richt Is One Of The Best Coaches In The Sec, Which Is A Who's Who Of Coaching, I Can't Say The Same For The Uga Fans. My Worst Experiences With Other Teams Fans, Have Always Been With Dawg Fans. That's Not To Say Anything Bad About You Sec, Just What I Have Experienced, During My Years Of Working Security (event Staff) At Williams Brice For More Than Eight Years, Before Heading To China.
But Richt Is A Class Act, And I Always Pull For Any Sec Team, When We Are Not Playing Against Them. Go Dawgs!
