 I tell you what, USC needs to fill in the holes in the defensive and offensive lines before they even think about getting themselves a 5-star RB or QB. Those kinds of players are sure nice to have, but they can't really open up their game and win games if they aren't being protected. The defensive line needs a makeover to give that high-powered offense of the future time to recover after their numerous clock-eating touchdown drives.

I think the D-line is going to be just fine. The O-line is coming along but they are still not where they need to be. This guy is a blocking TE in the mold of an Andy Boyd so this pickup is addressing one of those areas you mention.
