DB Josh Hunter (6-2 176) of Charlotte, NC says that Carolina is in his top 4. He likes USC, Florida, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. All four have offered. In all, Hunter has 12 offers. The others are from Miami, NC State, Duke, East Carolina, Western Carolina, Colorado, Wake Forest and Marshall.

Hunter likes USC because of its location and the league in which they play. "They (USC) play in the SEC and I know it's the best conference. I like that. I also like that it's close to home. That's important to me." What is most important to him is to play "on a big stage."

In his junior season, Josh had five interceptions, two for touchdowns with 29 tackles and two sacks. He says his speed and agility are his strongest assets. "I run track for my school. That really helps me on the football field." Hunter runs the 100M, 200M, and relays for his team. Last month, he says he ran a sub 4.5 40 yard dash. He has not decided when he will take his official visit to USC.
