Nu'Keese Richardson ( WR/ 5-8/151/4.45 ) from Pahokee, FL named South Carolina as his leader. As a junior, the speedy star had 500 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. He also played other positions including defensive back, safety, quarterback and special teams. The speedy receiver has other offers from Florida, Florida State, Alabama and South Carolina just to name and more.... JC-golly:

the only thing I notice about this guy is that he woorks really well in a run and gun offense, with a lot of screens and dumps, but there's not really much ho his down field game. Carolina has a downfield passing game. the other qualm I have would have to be his height, he's only 5'8''. you need a guy who at least meets the 6'0'' mark in my mind to be a successful downfield recieving team. but that's just me.

5' 8" is short these days and you have to stretch the field. Very good points !! Also welcome aboard............

IF he was being recruited as a true WR then all of your points are valid. He is not. He is being recruited to be a Percy Harvin-type player that would fit into the offense in ways portrayed on his video. He would also be a return specialist on the punt team. If you look at any video of WVU last season and their freshman, Noel Devine, you will see exactly how he would be used at Carolina. Although they ran a different offense, the type of plays would be very similiar. Devine is also 5'8 and made a huge impact this past season. With his size, speed and elusiveness, he is perfect for screens, reverses and slants. I am also willing to bet he would have some downfield opportunities. He is rated one of the best in the country for a reason and I would gladly take this guy. Every major program would take him as well. He is definately a catch if we can get him.
Welcome Aboard from me as well. Thanks for the good post!
I don't argue he needs to gain some weight but Devine sure proved you can play this year at a similiar size. There are many players we take who are in the same boat as far as needing to gain weight. You still have to take them if they are playmakers and difference makers. This guy could start as a return guy as a freshman, regardless of weight. He is exciting. If not, that is what the redshirt season is for.
Richardson will be announcing his decision on May 30th which bodes well for USC. He had planned to visit UGA and Southern Cal in June but with the May 30th announcement planned, and the fact we have been his clear cut leader for some time, Nukeese to USC is looking really good at this moment. Stay Tuned.................
