Yes at one time the Gamecocks where 6-1. Seem to be ready to win the SEC East. 3 games later and three loses 6-4 with Florida and Clemson left to play.

With three weeks left and two games to play the Gamecock could be 6-6 to 8-4. I felt before the season stared that they would fall between 8-4 to 7-5 really not bad. The only lose in the three years Spurrier has coached the Gamecocks that really bothers me is the one against Vanderbilt.
